Venue For Hire
Hiring the Park
Highfield Park has a number of venues available for hire. We have hosted Luna outdoor cinema, Chaplin’s Circus, the BBC as a filming base, children’s parties, football parties and corporate events.
With over 80 acres of parkland the park provides an idyllic location for events; with gardens, woodland and fields there is plenty of stunning scenery and is perfect for marquees and tepees. There is a pavilion in a picturesque field framed by beautiful hedgerows and trees, making you feel as though you are in the middle of secluded countryside.

The Pavilion
Located on the cricket field the pavilion consists of two changing rooms with toilets, and a smaller ‘referees’ changing room. There is also a small kitchen and meeting room, electricity and hot water is provided. There is a tarmacked parking area for about 50 cars. It is an excellent summer venue for children’s parties with immediate access to the field and woodland.
The Visitor Centre Meeting Room
The meeting room in the Visitor Centre is available to hire between 09.00 and 21.30 for meetings and small scale activities for a fee of £20 per hour. It can accommodate up to 24 chairs and there are six large tables for meetings. Free parking is available. Unfortunately we cannot accept bookings for parties in the Visitor Centre.
Filming
The Park has previously been used for TV filming, we are happy to discuss filming proposals.
