History Trail

The Highfield Park History Trail is on surfaced footpaths / cycleways, mowed grass paths and through fields, stopping at points of interest in the former Hill End and Cell Barnes Hospital grounds. It starts at West Lodge, Hill End Lane (opposite Frobisher Road). There are several roads to be crossed, please take great care.

The Trust wishes to make it clear that some words used in these descriptions relate to their historical time and would not be used today.
