Nature Talk and Walk: Habitats and microhabitats in the park and the surrounding area

This event will begin with a short talk in our Visitor Centre on the different habitats and microhabitats that can be found in the park and the surrounding area, along with their importance for different types of wildlife. Following the talk, attendees will have the opportunity to go on a guided walk to see real examples of the habitats and microhabitats covered and to spot a range of wildlife associated with them.

The event is part of out Spring–Summer 2019 programme of ‘Nature Talks and Walks’.

Who is this event for?

This event is suitable for adults, as well as accompanied teenagers who are looking to learn more about the natural world. No prior knowledge is required.

Do you need a ticket?

You need to book a ticket in order to attend because space is limited in our Visitor Centre, and there is a small charge for tickets that will go to support the park’s charitable aims.

What to bring

No equipment is needed, but please wear suitable clothing and sturdy footwear.
