Forest School – Session 2
August 2 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Free
A fantastic opportunity to join us on our adventure into the world of Forest School, with our family focused sessions this summer. We will be exploring the park, building dens, going on bug hunts, learning about nature and bush craft, and more.
All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and siblings are welcome to attend. Please book places for all children attending only (not adults).
Sessions are suitable for ages 5 to 11 and all equipment provided.
The Forest School will be based from the Highfield Pavilion, which is situated in the Cricket Ground and has toilets and hand washing facilities.
If it is raining the activities will still continue so please bring a waterproof and wear suitable clothing for exploring the woods. It could be muddy, so please wear trainers, wellies or other outdoor shoes (but no sandals). Also, please ensure legs are covered (no shorts). The event is fully insured and a health and safety talk will be given at the beginning of each session.
Your Forest School leader will be Tanya, who is a professional Forest School leader, DBS checked and an outdoor first aider.
Joining instructions will follow nearer the time of the event.
