Bat Night July
This event will begin with a short talk in our Visitor Centre giving pointers on what bats we might find in the park and how to identify them. Following the talk, attendees will have the opportunity to go out into the park to search for bats with the parks’ bat detectors. We know from past events that we have found both Pipistrelle Bats (Pipistrellus pipistrellus) and Noctule Bats (Nyctalus noctula) in the park, although there are seventeen different types of bat to be found in the United Kingdom.
The event is part of out Spring–Summer 2019 programme of ‘Nature Talks and Walks’.
