Apples go missing!

We are saddened to see that the majority of the apples in the Cell Barnes orchard have been picked by person or persons unknown.

If anyone has any information then our Crime reference number is BCRI/41/V16Y/1192019

The Trust uses the apples to make our delicious apple juice and cider, which we sell at Apple Day, this year on 6th October. All profits will go towards maintaining the park.

If you would like help us make up some of our lost profits and support the work of the park please come to Apple Day and join in the fun.

you are welcome to my golden russets if someone could pick them as the birds are getting to too many. I only have the one tree and the apples are growing quite high up for me to harvest.

Thanks Sylvia and apologies for taking a few days to get back to you. As you may have seen on Social Media we’ve had numerous offers of help, which has been very touching. We’ve now secured some additional apples from a local grower and should now be ok. Thank you for thinking of us and taking the time to get in touch. It’s appreciated.
