The aerial display over the allotment pond at the end of June was a riot of colour with green dragonflies, blue and red damselflies. The water has tadpoles, newts, pond skaters and some froglets.
We are nearly there, big thanks to Barry and Richard who have done so much work.
If you pop by on your walk through the park then please continue to respect this burgeoning wildlife habitat .
Next door is the pond for dogs to have a paddle and a drink although nobody told the newts they were in the wrong pond!
